The exhibition is getting closer and production is in full swing!
Prints are now printed by the fabulous Double Red Print. Great job boys as usual! And now they are in the very capable hands of my most excellent friends at Speed Frame of Lincoln who also do an amazing job. A massive thanks also to The University of Lincoln who have sponsored my work for a second year. Chapeau chaps! Really looking forward to seeing them up on the wall over at The Angel Coffee House. It’s gonna be a great display and I hope you all enjoy it.
Nice little piece on The Lincolnite website too
finishing at Double Red Print
luckily the main print just fits into my car! On my way to the framers!
Meanwhile, I’ll be working as a TourMaker
at stage 2
of The Tour de France
at the Sheffield finish as a flag marshall….I’ll be one of over 500 Tourmakers volunteering to help marshall the Grand Depart over the 3 days the Tour is in the UK. Across the 3 days, there are a total of 10,000 tourmakers and this is the first time the Tour de France has ever used volunteers to help marshall this famous race
The Tommy Simpson Memorial Ride
ALSO, on the 13th July Cafe Ride Cycle Club
will be commemorating the life of British cyclist Tom Simpson
by riding out to his home town of Harworth (where he is buried) This is particularly poignant as it will be 47 years to the day when Tom died on the ascent of Mont Ventoux on the 13th Stage of the 1967 Tour de France. On our return to The Angel Coffee House, we will also be marking The Angel’s first birthday (under its current owners) and with TdF live on screen, it should be a great day out!
